Barracudas are carnivorous fish are torpedo-shaped fish with sharp teeth and a wide gape. They are equipped to hunt down both large and small fish such as jacks, groupers, snappers, small tunas, mullets, herrings and anchovies. They typically inhabit the open seas but are also commonly found in shallow coral reefs and mangroves.
